Our Story
For me, the journey has always mattered
Long-haul travel has been part of my life for more than 20 years – from living in Australia and travelling overland to get there, to planning journeys with my own family across Australia, Asia, Europe and beyond.
Along the way, I've learned that the trips we remember aren't simply about where we stayed. They're about how it all fits together – the routes we take, the places we linger, and the experiences that become part of the journey.

Thoughtful travel starts with understanding what matters to you
I love the research behind a great journey – working out the route that makes sense, where it’s worth spending more time, what deserves the detour and which experiences will make the trip feel like yours.
Australia is where my knowledge runs deepest. Having lived there for many years and travelled extensively across the country, I know just how different one Australia trip can look from another. But my planning extends much further – across New Zealand and the South Pacific, Japan and Asia, Africa, Canada and beyond.
For me, the detail is where a good trip becomes a great one. I’ll happily work through the possibilities, connections and practicalities so you don’t have to – bringing everything together into a journey that feels considered but never over-planned.
So, where would you like to go next? Let's start there.

The kind of journeys I love
There isn't one right way to travel. But these are the kinds of journeys I find myself returning to again and again.
The long way round
Australia, properly
More than one place
Room for discovery
Sometimes getting there is part of the story. I love journeys where a road, rail route or well-chosen stopover adds something to the experience rather than simply getting you from A to B.
Australia deserves time. Having lived and travelled there extensively, I can help you look beyond the obvious and create a journey that makes sense of the distances, contrasts and possibilities.
Some of the best long-haul trips combine different experiences. City and coast. Adventure and downtime. Two countries that work beautifully together. I love finding the connections that make it flow.
Not every moment needs an itinerary. I believe in planning the things worth planning – and leaving enough space to linger, change pace and enjoy where you are.
How I work
Planning a long-haul trip shouldn't feel like work. I'll take care of the research, details and practicalities, while we shape the journey together.
01
Start with you
We talk about where you're thinking, how you like to travel and how you want the trip to feel.
Where would you like to go?
02
Explore the possibilities
I research routes, the stays and experiences and bring together the strongest ideas to chat.
Shape the journey
Travel with support
03
We refine the details until the itinerary feels right, not simply until everything fits.
04
Once booked, I'll take care of the details and you'll have support throughout your journey.
